Spicejet and Air India operate daily flights between Delhi and Dharamshala. These 90-minute flights are the fastest option to travel to our festival. Dharamshala airport is located in Gaggal, 15 kms away from Dharamshala. You can easily get a taxi from the airport to Dharamshala/McLeodganj. Guests coming from Mumbai can also reach Dharamshala via Chandigarh. There are several nonstop flights between Mumbai and Chandigarh, which take 2 and half hours.
By Bus
The 11 to 12 hour overnight bus is the most common mode of transportation for the Delhi-Dharamshala route. Tickets range from 600 INR to 1500 INR. Many different buses are available, of which the most comfortable are the AC Volvo semi-sleeper buses, which can be booked at local travel agents or online.

By Taxi
Private taxis can be hired for travel to and from Delhi to Dharamshala. The journey takes 11 to 12 hours and can be booked by local travel agencies.

By Train
The closest train station to Dharamshala is Chakki Bank and Pathankot, 90 kilometers or approximately two hours away from Dharamshala. Delhi-Chakki Bank/Pathankot train tickets are usually in high demand and must be purchased months in advance. The fastest train is the Jammu Rajdhani, which takes 7 hours from New Delhi to Chakki Bank. Other trains such as the Uttar S Kranti, Jam Jat Express and Aii Jat Express takes 7 and a half to 8 hours.
